Blessed and Thankful

“The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad” – Psalm 126:3

We truly rejoice in our God for all the blessings He has showered upon us in the last few months. As a young evangelist, I am grateful for any opportunity to preach God’s Word. How thrilled I was then that 4 out of the 5 Sunday’s in October found me preaching somewhere – we had three different revival meetings and then a one day meeting to close out the month! The Lord blessed at Faith Baptist in Belvidere, IL, with many good decisions and tender hearts. Lakewood Baptist in Harrison, TN, welcomed us with much kindness and hospitality, and also tender hearts ready to receive God’s truth! There were several important decisions made at the altar, and a sweet spirit dominated throughout the week.

From Tennessee we made our way to North Port, FL, to be with the precious believers at First Baptist Church. We so much enjoyed our time there, and the Lord blessed in each service. I heard many positive comments throughout the week of how God was working in people’s lives. There was an unsaved 97 year old lady in the Sunday morning service who heard a clear gospel presentation – I pray God gives the increase in her life before it’s too late. We closed out the month in Mobile, AL, at Meadowlake Baptist Church, pastored by my former Pastor, David Walton. What an encouragement to see the Waltons again and to minister among the saints there.

Now back home again, we look forward to the holiday season and helping out with all the special events at our home church, and then ending the year, Lord willing, in Oklahoma with family. My wife and I have a deep sense of gratitude for all God has brought us through this year, and for all the ministry opportunities He has already opened up for next year. We are so blessed and thankful to serve our faithful God for the cause of Christ and revival.

We pray you and yours have a very blessed Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas!
