Fall 2022

I trust you are enjoying the beautiful Fall colors wherever you are! God certainly is a master painter, and we’re so blessed to be able to behold His glorious creation. We’ve enjoyed ministering in a few meetings the last several weeks. It was a blessing to be a part of the Hope for America area wide crusade in the Rockford, IL region. This was an evangelistic outreach that saw about 10 churches participate to bring lost people to a neutral location to hear the gospel for eight straight nights. There was an average attendance of close to 400 every night, and we saw 16 professions of faith and several receive assurance of salvation! I was able to head up the children’s crusade and we had 5 young people who accepted Christ throughout the week! It was so neat to see the cooperation among local churches, and I pray that God would only continue the burden for revival and evangelism in our area.

Our family then left for a week of meetings in Pennsylvania. The Mount Zion Community Church in Acme, PA was such a blessing to us, and we had a great week serving and ministering God’s Word to these precious folks. There was a good response throughout the week, and there was several visitors who came for their friend night and heard a clear gospel message. A few days after we got back home we heard of one particular lady who was there several nights, and she finally made the decision to trust Jesus! We thank God for the work He accomplished this week and the work He will continue to accomplish among these believers.

Well, the holiday season is almost upon us! Besides preaching at one area church in November, we will be home for the rest of the year ministering in our church. We have a new pastor now and we are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us! 2 Timothy 4:5 tells us, “Do the work of an evangelist.” Though our meetings are done for the year, we want to be found faithful doing the work of an evangelist at all times. May we all be active in giving out the gospel in these wicked days. May the Lord abundantly bless you and give you a wonderful holiday season!
